Hanabishi Kaoru is a junior in college, living out an ordinary life of studying and friends. One day, he meets a girl whom he discovers is his old friend Sakuraba Aoi, a girl whom he was supposed to have an arranged marriage with.Shirobako was simply amazing and I'm about to get my hands on Hanasaku Iroha which I've heard is just as fun. Ai Yori Aoshi - another in the harem genre, although it's obvious from the very beginning that only one of the other girls even has the slightest chance, and that only barely. Your Lie In April, Dusk Maiden of Amnesia (Yuuko just might be my waifu), and Spice and Wolf especially are great. Huh, I just realized I haven't watched that many romance anime.

Personally I am fine with this if it means we can get more background on Ash & his family, like maybe finally learn who his father is and why Pikachu didn't like humans at first.
And judging from the poster maybe finally confirming or killing the fan theory that Ash seeing Ho-Oh in the first episode is the reason he stays a kid, XD. Actually most of the girls are super likeable but Nico is the stand out. The classic tsundere isn't bad - it's the 'abuse-kun' wackadoo we see now that's killed it IMO.
Unbeknownst to him, the woman is Aoi Sakuraba, who has been his betrothed since they were children, an arranged marriage set up by their wealthy families.
In the intervening years, Kaoru had cut ties to his family and its corporate group and cannot accept Aoi, but as he gets to know her, he's won over by her sense of devotion and her kind heart.
